It's ALL more of the same at this point. The AR market is the same thing. Nothing really new or innovative. Manufacturers are all just trying to get their piece of the pie. What about a triple stack? That would be something new!
We consumers get part of the blame also.
Let's face most of us don't really want innovation, we just want guns that work properly.
KelTec makes some unique stuff......... and are largely poo pooed for it. The Boberg (now Bond Arms) bullpup pistols hardly set the world on fire either.

Looks like a descent option. Price is competitive as well. Not the best looking gun out there but you get a lot for the cash output I think. 3 mags. I like that it is a 3.3-3.3” barrel. I like this in between size. 3” is too small and 4” is to large for me to CC.

A family member wanted me to get the Kimber RAPIDE (Black ICE). A pretty nice piece but I'll stick with tried and true models without the fancy upgrades that mean nothing in a self-defense situation. If it was good enough for the military in combat situations, then it's good enough to fit my needs.

LOL... Speaking of Hellcat .. my friends wife just got one in 9mm .. i dont care for it .. every time i pointed it at the living room wall the front sight would turn off; point at floor it come on .. LOL.

I don’t think it’s any more expensive than those mentioned above. Not saying it’s better. It’s msrp is $599 without optic and $799 with itica installed. Glock 43x mos is the same price essentially and not sure it comes with 3 mags or not. I’m not sticking up for the kimber just saying i think for what it is it’s priced fairly. Also has more capacity than the other guns in its class. Good thing? Ah maybe not. I won’t be buying one so again not sticking up for the gun or the maker.
My wife just said she’d buy me a gun so I will more than likely be getting a 365 and 365xl. I’ll buy one and so will she. I’ll wait until later in the fall since I’m getting a raise and back pay check and she starts to work an extra job then too.
