I had a couple of noricos that made great boat paddles.


I had a yugo that was like brand new and shot about 2moa or so.


Almost as good as those 2 saigas i lost in that house fire....

That's the cool part. You don't feel bad using them as tomato stakes. Pull it out of the ground and ring the 6 inch gong at 100 yards and then stick it back in the dirt.

I was really excited but $899 seems kind of steep, if only because I have a Saiga in 7.62 with that exact wood stock. Still really cool if you want something like a Saiga and can’t find one for a reasonable price. I’m still waiting for something a little handier with a shorter OAL and decent cheek weld for optics.

Well, I got a saiga for $399.


Those days are long over. Cheap aks in general are over. WASR is now a $700 gun. There are no more saigas, veprs, barely any arsenals...and you dont want a psa, ras47, io, etc. They are expensive hand grenades.


The ar15 is now the cheap semi auto. Easily had for sub $600 or built for 4-5. Its just too bad i lost both of mine in a boating accident.


Anyhoo, nothing personal. Every man assigns his worth to things.

Thats a decent price IMO considering Saiga sporters are bloody hard to find. And saigas come with shitty plastic furniture and most of the good wood stuff starts at $100 and goes up.

Yeah, like I said, steep for me, considering I have a Saiga with the same wood I got for much cheaper. It’s a cool gun and I might still pick one up at some point (just got an RDB C so I have to issue some financial restraint).

And it goes without saying that the act of creating anything for ban states is much appreciated. It’ll be the perfect companion gun to the SCR.

I’m very happy a quality company like lee armory is offering a great product for us sad sad banned State folks...but this is excessive. The rifles were supposed to ship “September or sooner”.

It’s testing my patience for sure! I see on social media they had a few of them built on display at red October. I’ll let you know if I actually get it.
