No doubt a group of vets can draw blood with guerilla tactics but they'd lose a sustained firefight with a military war machine. They wouldn't be equipped as well and wouldn't have the logistics to keep them fighting as long as the war machine.
Now take away the war machine's rules of engagement and give them carte blanche to be able to steamroll through any town and exterminate it of all males between the ages 16 and 50 with tanks, Javelins, .50's, 240's, Mark 19's, mortars, ect and the vets wouldn't have a chance.

Almost every single solider I knew in the Army and almost every single vet I know believed wholeheartedly in the job we were doing for the betterment of America.
Often this conversations would come up. Never did 1 soldier say they would blindly follow orders to kill their own.

I'm simply making a point about who will win in the end stemming off the statement that an unorganized army of deer hunters could take down and army due to numbers alone. Tactically even with the numbers they can't. Veterans would do better but in the end, they too would be put down.
I wasn't talking about this happening in real life. It won't happen. The military isn't going to war with hunters and hunters aren't going to war with the military. But if it was crazy enough to happen and the military started getting sniped and taking casualties, that's the end of the hunters and the veterans.
This is all assuming a hypothetical if they were at serious war with one another with no holds barred.

Kinda funny thought. I had this weird ass recurring dream for a couple years. The US was in the middle of civil war, all the usual Agencies weaponized pretty heavily working hand in hand with UN troops. Much of our military was caught up protecting other interests like the White House and other key government areas. Militia groups all around the US were attacking UN troops and barely holding their own due to the UN troops having more heavy firepower, but we were getting pretty proficient at stealing their shit lol. Damn near every true red blooded American on our side who could hold a gun was involved. Each night the dream would get a bit more involved, go further into what was happening. The last night of this dream there was a lot of AK gunfire coming from behind. We realized it wasn't intended for us and when the troops got close we couldn't understand what they were saying. At the end I think an interpretor said they were Russian, here at the request of the POTUS to aid the Militia and US Military.Im all for Trump working with the Russians to eliminate the far left.
