To this day, at their house, at their dinner table, I'll bring that up. Ida told her she could kiss my bare ass on Main St.

Aw crap, I don’t have pics. Anyone have a Llama Comanche .22lr? 6” heavy (non-tapered) barrel, at a casual glance has Dirty Harry’s .44 Magnum presence. Was a steal for $75, I traded my Tec 22 for it.
Also: my Philco cabinet radio. Allegedly a 1947 model. AM/FM and police band. It’s beautiful to look at, and has surprisingly warm sound. It fills a room with tunes, but not obnoxiously at all. Sadly, the turntable doesn’t work, I have a decent selection of 33-1/3s which would sound great on it. Even better, the radio parts never got transistorized, so it has the frequency drift and quirkiness I kinda love.

I wouldn’t even give myself the horologist label. More of an enthusiast. I can brag about having a mechanical watch because I snagged a Seiko SNK805 for $75

Funny, last time I dropped my wife’s rings off to get cleaned, that was the only watch in the case which appealed to me (OK, not sure it had the atomic complication). I kinda wanted it, but my wrists are too dainty for anything much bigger than a low-40mm case.
I’ll probably stay Seiko next time with a Pepsi bezel SKX on a few nice NATO straps.
The downside of the SNKs is that they have teeny little straps, and there’s not much out there which isn’t junk and/or ugly, so I just keep it as is.

I found out recently he gave it to my brother. He’s such an asshole too. They hate each other so I don’t know why he gave it to him. He doesn’t appreciate it at all. I was talking to him about all the $$ my aunt was stealing from my grandma and he said well I didn’t get much. I said well I got a few lawn tools rakes, shovels, and a few hand tools. He said well all I got was that old gun and for some reason dad told me not to tell anyone he gave it to me. I said that’s because he told me I could have it. That gun is worth good money and I hope he doesn’t do something stupid with it. He takes care if nothing. I was the one that oiled the leather and the gun to keep them in good condition. Also not to be petty but I helped him redo all the plumbing in his basement and I help my dad something no one else does.

Thanks. I doubt my brother would. We don’t really get along. I was only over his house because his wife was paying me to do their landscaping. Normally I’d never take money from family but I was there for 12 hours redoing his plumbing and his wife said she’d get us a gift certificate for dinner and a hotel night stay. That was when snow was on the ground and I’m still waiting for it. So this time around I took the cash. He’s only 2 years older than me too. Tis life. My dad gave me other guns in the past so I guess that’s how it goes. I’m only kissed because he doesn’t care about the gun, the historical value of it, won’t care for it, and I was already promised the gun by my dad and grandma. That’s why I hate families and estate things.
I told my parents when they die all I want is some tools and the 9 acres they have. My brother and sister can fight about the rest. I don’t care about money and I don’t need it. My parents give my sister money monthly to pay their bills, watch their kids 40 hours per week and the only reason I care is because my sister and her husband do nothing to thank them. My dad even cuts their lawn and snow blows. It’s ridiculous
