I would like to see someone develop a good holster/stock thing what guns like the Broomhandle Mausers and FN HIgh Powers, among others, had. For Glocks. Historically they were quite "meh" but I would like to see if modern manufacturing could improve on the concept.

I'd also build a 12.5" 6mm ARC (and can).

Throw a 10" barrel and Dead Air Sandman-K 5.5" suppressor on my .300 Blackout rifle along with a lightweight 9" handguard. I'd have a Vortex 1.75-5x scope on top zeroed with 110 grain Barnes Tac-TX handloads on top and an offset 3 MOA red-dot zeroed with some sort of subsonic ammo.

Also, a short-barreled lever action .44 Magnum, like 12" barrel and throw a .45 cal can on it for a woods hunting rifle topped with a 2 MOA red-dot.

You are thinking of the 86 gun control act (Hugh's amendment) prior to that machine guns were just like cans/sbrs.. Pay $200 tax get finger prints take machine gun home.

Reagan sighed Hughes amendment in the 86 GCA and that prevented transferring of new production machine guns

My PS90 would have a 10.5" barrel within minutes LOL.

I think I would start looking into a MK19.

Also, a G18 would be on the short list too.

I once accidentally slammed the barrel of a MK19 into my platoon sergeant's balls. We were setting up temporary shop in the barracks of a national guard camp for a month of field training.
In one of tge barracks, on the second floor in a corner office space we were getting our arms room situated. Up and down, up and down tge stairs we were with M16s, M9, M249s, M240s, M2s and said Mk19. I was at tge top of the stairs and rounding the corner as Sergeant First Class Gutierrez rounded the corner to head back down and ploonk, right into his nutsack went the Mk 19. Those things weigh about 80lbs too.

Just posting it along so the info can be out there, I look at this the same way as I look at the house AWB 1808. It's grandstanding.. know it won't pass and be signed but put in just to say hey look what I/we did. Granted 1808 has a better chance than this does, but it sounds like even 1808 is losing a lot of favor and might not even pass the house

Anyways i digress, I truly believe at some point the NFA will fall, probably not too soon, but it will. I don't think it will fall by legislation, but will be taken out through the use of the court system.

It's good that these bills are popping up though. This is how you get the idea into peoples heads. The left does this all the time. They keep bringing up bills with no chance over and over again until one day they have a chance. If the NFA goes down, the ATF should either be down graded to just AT or completely disbanded and no longer exist as an agency in any form or influence.

They shouldn't exist to begin with. At least not the firearms part of it. Think about it, they are a federal agency tasked with suppressing (pun intended) a civil right. Is there any other civil right that has an agency regulating it the way the ATF regulates the 2nd? If they were tasked with protecting the right, it would be one thing, but they are not. It's quite the opposite.

I have always wanted a Tommy gun. Full auto .45acp with a 100 round drum mag. I’ve always loved them, the history, I like the Al Capone/untouchables story and that gun saved many in WWII.
