I was just getting my gear sorted out for an upcoming class with @OnSight Firearms Training the end of this month, making sure everything fit, was adjusted properly ect. This is what I am currently running:
Up top is a "Invrt Bandoleer" from IC13. On it are 2 rifle mag pouches, 1 pistol mag pouch and a basic medical kit. I got it to have something simple that I could throw on quickly and had the basics covered. You could attach a knife or light or multitool to the upper single row of webbing as well.
Below is my EDC belt (which I actually wear every single day sans pouches) from Blue Alpha Gear . On it are velcro loop attached Ten-Speed elastic pouches from Bluforce Gear.
There are two pistol mags, two rifle mags, the little pouch next to the rifle pouches is a blow out dump pouch (stowed away here) another basic medical kit and a holster for my Glock 19 which is attached with a Tek-Lok.
In the middle is the NYGF build 14.5 carbine which is a nice light and handy rifle. Currently zeroed for 64gr Gold Dots.
The nice thing about the Speed Ten belt pouches (as opposed to the MOLLE ones) is that I can attach them while wearing my belt. It takes some fumbling but it can be done.
I have run those pouches before and they work really well, I just got the Bandoleer and I look forward to seeing how it works out.
So that's 60 rounds of 9mm, 150 rounds of 5.56 and 2 med kits. Which is way more than I would ever need but it's not a heavy or cumbersome load out so why not?
Mostly the bandoleer is what I'd sling over my shoulder in a hurry.
