Head shots - slow fire, single action. All in.
Right upper - Double action only fast
Left upper- original DA only slow
Main center target - mag dumps
All at ten yards first time back in over three years - still got a lot of work to do
The worst thing is I had no idea there were different mounting options and have a low budget to start. What a cluster function! RMR, MOS, DPP, and couple others I can't remember. What the hell!
Very freakin confusing! Is there a chart somewhere? Beretta sells adapter plates for their RDO model guns but I barely figured out the info. Happened to see the Bushnell RXS-100 on Prime day on sale and it said Leupold Delta ProPoint footprint. Order in! It worked. But was thinking about a Holosun 407k or 507 instead. And then there's that 509 . . . and then a Sig Romeo Zero or a different Romeo unit. All different footprints?Awe man should have asked.. there are a few of us here that are more than happy to help..
DM even if you need

I have a spare/second Glock 19 Gen3 that I'm thinking about getting the slide milled by Boogeyman Customs or Suarez. Looks like a different print too! "Roll eyes"
Oh yeah . . . speaking of pistols . . . there's a brand new, never been shot PTR MP-5K that's dying for a dot. Anything that will co-witness the irons on that beast? 509 Holosun?
Superman t-shirt on the range while training . . .Gimme one sec I'll type up a quick run down that may be able to help..
Also skip Suarez the owner is a complete moron
Herein lies one of the problems. The Beretta website lists 5 plates: Leupold, ACRO, Burris/Doctor/Vortex, C-More, and Trijicon. If I want a Holosun 407/507 it has to be a "C" not a "K"? And my plate will be Trijicon. There is a fair amount of overhang with a Leupold/Bushnell RXS-100 etc. I was hoping for a skinnier setup. The slide profile is tapered at the top.Ok so I do know the main optic footprints.
Holosun was smart and copied the RMR footprint with most of their optics.
RMR footprint optics are as followed.
Trijicon RMR (all models)
Trijicon SRO
Holosun 407c, 507c, 508T
For the slim line stuff there is the Shield RMSc footprint. This is mostly for single stack stuff
Holosun 407k and 507k
Shield RMSc (junk)
JPoint optics (junk)
Sig Romeo Zero (junk)
Next is the Doctor footprint (iirc)
Leupold DPP (meh optic)
And I think some of the bigger sig optics idk cause their handgun red dots are dumb.
Now for the new stuff. Closed emitter optics.
Holosun 509T uses its own footprint, essentially a cross bar like that of using pic rail.
Aimpoint ACRO also uses a similar footprint but not the same.
Steiner MPS can be used on an ACRO cut gun just fine but most places are doing specific cuts to that optic as well just to be even more secured
Just changed up my EDC from my gen 3 G19 custom cut slide with RMR.
Moved to gen 5 G19 MOS with Holosun 507c on a C&H plate

Yea how was your plate? I have 2 and had to "adjust" both with a dremel.
Well add that to the every growing list of C&H shitty QC
On pistols that are not "optics ready" from the factory it looks like replacing the rear sight with one of these plates is an option.
Any feedback, pros cons?
Plate was purchased a year ago ago and inspected before I installed it. Everything seemed ok and I didn't see any major points of concern so I installed it, and the 507c on my G17. Ran that gun on the range for a tad under 1000 rounds with no issues. Decided I like the slightly bigger window and smaller dot a bit better so transferred the plate and sight to the G19. Haven't shot it yet to re-zero but I expect to put a few hundred through it before making it a full time carry gun. If anything problems occur ill re-post but I don't expect anything major.Yea how was your plate? I have 2 and had to "adjust" both with a dremel.

Another take.
Nah, Aimpoint doesn't need it. They have always been rock solid. What I would love to see and surprises me they are not in the biz for pistol optics is Eotec. WTF Boys??When I see this I wonder.. hmm did aimpoint pay him enough for a good "review"

I’ve had my eye on that exact set up.I ended up ordering a Holosun 507K GR X2 for my P365X. Should be here by the end of the week. Looking forward to some range time with both.
Didn't know. Did Aaron do a review? Is it crap? But eotech did just release their new pistol optic.. (they even did one a few years ago that never made any waves iirc)
