Limited Edition Bond Arms

I got an email from Bond Arms on two limited edition models they are selling. Ya blah blah derringers are worthless, my dicks too big for one. I only bought one for novelty and always wanted one.

But these two are absolutely ridiculous in price. A regular priced one is 350-450ish. these are $700. good ness man! One is a blackjack black and a zombie green with blood splatter. they are like 5 years late to the party.

Hey, I think the Bond Arms derringers are pretty cool! I don't think they are worthless either.
Niche maybe but not worthless.

Ever handle one? They are supposed to be very high quality guns. Quality is expensive.
Next time I see one in the wild I will try to put hands on one myself.

So are NAA mini recovers, and they are actually reasonably priced.

2 of.my.NAA.minis cost the price of 1 derringer...which is not a complaint. Just a fact.

Yeah, I like the Black Widow and Mini Master models. They seem much more usable.
That said the NAA guns are much smaller and have less material in them so they should cost less.

Nope. It's the machining/ skill that costs.

Compare these to a quality full size pistol or even a rifle with far more material.

I got mine chambered in 357. Figured it might be a little more useful than the 410

I bough my Bond 3" Cowboy Defender in 45LC/410 a few years ago. I paid $385 used and it came with a good leather holster. I like shooting it, you do know you are shooting a gun when you shoot it.
I tried all the different types of ammo in it.
When I carry ot I have 410 buckshot in it. Thay patterned the best at 25 feet.

The PDX ammo I didn't like, there are three little flat dics and I think 12 BBs. The BBs spread to muck at 25 feet. The three dics shot about three inches low and about two inches to the left.

The 410 rifles slugs and the 45LC patterned oak, but you only have twoprojectiles, where with the buckshot you have four 32 caliber balls hitting your target times 2, so eight projectiles compared to two projectiles.

Comparing the Bond to the Americam Derringer or any of the others, is like comparing a Ford pick up to a red flyer kids wagon.
The Bond is a quality derringer. My friend bought one with the 45LC/410 barrel, then he bought the 22lr barrel, the 357 barrel and one other caliber.
I don't consider my Bond a novelty gun, it can and will put any one down with in its capacity which is close, remember it is a derringer, AKA:Belly gun.
I did buy a couple of other derringer in 38spl. One is a small American derringer I carry in my sweatpants, the other is an oddball. I'd have to did it out to see what make it is.

They all have a purpose, just some fill it better then others.
