1912 RSAF Enfield. Yes, it looks to be in pretty good condition. There is a wood piece that needs to be replaced, $40 for a new one. It's out at Turnbull's to get the barrel scoped and the chamber measured. Supposedly it was a shooter, but I want to be sure before I pull the trigger.
Wow, it looked so nice I figured it might of been a WWII vintage Aussie gun or such.

It sort of followed me home this past summer, along with some 22s and the rolling block. I wasn't really interested in it, but the more I learned about it, and handled it, the more I wanted to take to the range. Not pretty...pretty awesome!

Picked up a 10/22 today, been wanting to for a while and figured what better time than now? I also ordered the E. Arthur Brown M1 Carbine 10/22 Tribute stock and other accessories, most of it back-ordered but I'm in no rush. I've always loved the look of the M1 Carbine but never found one for sale that was decently priced. I'll shoot this way more than I would something in .30 Carbine anyway so its the best of both worlds for me.
Just in case anyone gets the wrong idea, let me preface this by saying: I'm not a cop.
I've fired more than a few semi-auto rifles, though I've never thought of owning one after I moved to NY due to the SAFE Act. I see more than a few AR-15's and other semi-auto rifles that look to have detachable magazines and higher capacity (more than 10 round) magazines. I thought those features were "banned."
Could someone who is savvy on NY reg's please explain what's allowed and not allowed with regards to AR-15's and similar rifles?
The mag most likely is permanently "blocked" with a spacer to only allow 10 rounds but still look cool like a normal 30rd mag that everywhere else in the country gets
Some of them look to have detachable magazines as well. Are there loopholes which allow for those?

Marlin Model 782 in 22 WMR which I have had since I was a kid. My father purchased it originally to kill woodchucks on our farm. Fired about 100 rounds through it at the range today.

Winchester Model 67A and Remington Model 581 - One was my fathers the other my Grandfathers, my dad doesn't remember which, HA! Put 100-200 rounds through each today, the 67A needs some sight adjustment but was still fun. I will definitely be shooting the 581 a lot, good squirrel gun and a ton of fun with that 10 round magazine at the range.

Picked up a Marlin model 60 today from my LGS. I love my tube fed Henry so I'll enjoy this, cant beat the price either at $215.

Nice rifle. Don't see all that many CZs in chassis. Wonder why, they are an outstanding and true Mauser 98 action, controlled round feed and all, right?
