It passed the House and Senate here. Gov. Cox has already said he would sign it. I'm not sure how this compares to other states with permitless carry. In Utah, you can open carry without a permit, but the gun cannot have a round in the chamber. I know for sure this law makes it so that you can now conceal the gun on your person without a permit, but I'm not sure if it also makes it so that you can have the gun loaded without having the permit. I'll look into it. Like Arizona, you'll still be able to get the permit, which is good for traveling, Etc..
Not sure what the future holds on the federal level and how it could affect this, but it is nice that this is happening. I think there are also a bunch more states with similar legislation being considered. Let's hope this trend continues.
