M&P Shield holsters

For you holster whores, what are you using for your Shield? Likes, dislikes?
IWB or appendix. Spent more than I wanted to on tge gun, thanks covid and this new abomination, I mean administration. So not looking for fancy expensive options.

So I just bought a shield and at first I opted to just get a new kydex shell for my Alien Gear super tuck or whatever the fuck it's called. I originally bought it for my Kahr MK9, but I don't like how heavy it is so that pistol will likely become my girlfriend's purse carry.
I bought the replacement shell for $15 and decided to get the one made for the Shield with TRL 6 (I ordered the light).

Then, I thought I might try an old OutBags USA holster I bought for my Glock23 way back and wouldn't you know it, the Shield fits perfectly. What's crazy is it looks like it conceals much better than the Alien Gear holster. The only negatives are that its leather (so there is the risk it could potentially get soft enough to fold into the trigger) and it isn't made to fit a gun with a weapon light.

I might try to rig some kydex into the trigger area of the OutBags holster to prevent any leather from folding in on the trigger.

I use an hybrid (cloak tuck) and a kydex holster I made.
I don't t know if they fixed this but check your mag release button they have a tendency to rust and get stuck.

I’ve been using N82 for my Shield. I can wear it all day with out issues; pretty comfortable.

I thought about getting a shell for my Alien Gear but the leather is nicely formed to my P99 now.

I've had a Shield on my hip in a N82 Pro for about 7 years now. Can't say enough good things about the N82 Pro. Its an IWB with a polypropylene shell, backed with suede. No part of the gun touches your skin. Comfortable as all hell.

I have others but this is the best, no extra crap in the way, barebones, excellent fit for gun and man. I just wish they made one for my new favorite pistola.

I make mine a OWB high and tight for my 45 Shield. You can make the IWB too. Lots of variations for different carries. I have one for my Glock 43 as well and can conceal under a T shirt.

Worth every penny, very comfortable, conceals the gun very well. What is the price of that holster against the cost of the gun?
