I bought a giant magnet a few years ago. I tried my luck at the pond near my old house and got a hammer and some other junk.
I thought about taking it down to the boat launch in Newburgh, but I'm not sure I want to catch what might be in there.

watch a few you tube channels on divers searching for finds ,, a few find guns at times .. one guy found a Kimber Pistol and is from Az .. turned it in to LEO .. it could have been cleaned up and back working .. he lost that 900$$$ plus find .. oh we have to keep it or destroy it if nothing comes up ...
