I think I've said it before in this and the other thread.
If he was shooting a CZ, then he was most likely shooting a Shadow2. They don't have firing pin blocks and there fore not considered drop safe.

A modification to the trigger could definitely be a contributing factor.
They had just switched ro' s does that other guy feel lucky or guilty ??

I have decided to go and have arrived at the club. Although I am not a member, and dont know anyone here, my hope is that others are in attendance. If so, please don't be shy to approach a guy wearing greenish carpenter pants and a black carhartt jacket.
Was there to pay my respects. Approached a gentleman in the parking lot, mentioned how I was made aware of the memorial , mentioned I wasn't a member but still wished to attend, was told it was ok. Went in, stayed for about an hour. Was fortunate to have been present as a card was passed, signed it. Wished I had put more forethought into the entirety of the event and asked if I could have signed on behalf of all of us here in the NYGF. Without permission, it would have been inappropriate. Signed personally, with my condolences. Wanted to purchase a beverage not being part of the club, they don't accept cards. Was bought a round ( Pepsi, I tend not to drink) for empathy regarding the circumstances and for simply attending, a wonderful gesture.

I wish I would have known in advance. I would have bought you another Pepsi. I chose A&W myself. It was a good opportunity for people to talk about our concerns regarding the incident, how to make things safer in the future, and honor a man who was known as a "walking rule book" for his dedication to safety and the sport.
And yes, the club is a great bunch of people. Consider joining us!
