The Covid cases and flooded hospitals depends on the hospital. It was so mismanaged that the floating hospital Trump sent had about that number. Other hospitals were flooded. And thousands died because of Cuomo’s mismanagement. The number of Covid deaths was high in NYC.
Go look at secondary sources. Go google how many NYC employees died from Covid.

We can just look at Cuomo and the nursing home. Just the rate of deaths in the nursing homes.

And these numbers are deaths.Not the people who survived due to respirators, or other major medical interventions.

Your brother in law ‘s hospital might have been smart enough not to treat Covid patients if they didn’t have to. ( Since I don’t know the type of hospital- speciality hospitals did turn away Covid patients if they knew they had Covid prior to admittance .
I too have family and friends in healthcare , some at the highest corporate levels. Covid was a very real issue. And they pulled strings to get Covid vaccines for themselves and their families like put their family on the payroll to be eligible when the shot was limited to healthcare employees only. Does that give a clue to how bad it was. Not hype .

Not saying covid wasn't real. Teachers, cops and doctors are still part of an average society. Their jobs don't equate to health. Basically saying that just because they are a doctor or in the health field that doesn't constitute them being healthy. 99% survival rate. Again, healthy people survive. Also dying with compared to from are two different beasts. My family has implemented protocols to insure we stay well and those protocols have nothing to do with the jab. Yes, it can be done for those who are willing to look and not fall for the bullshit. Bottom line is this. At a minimum, this scamdemic should indicate as an underlying issue, how sick and unhealthy society is. That's the epidemic here..

Do, anyone lookup total deaths in the US in 2019 vs 2020 ?

Then subtract the known causes of death that wouldn't be conflated with covid from each total (many of them, like drug overdoses, rose drastically in 2020 due to secondary effects from the lockdown)

See what those numbers look like.

You'll find that covid is not nearly as deadly as was claimed.

They have manipulated much of the data for political reasons making it untrustworthy, but I think they haven't been able to do much about total body counts for each year.

So far it's very difficult to *get* a reliable statistic about how many Americans actually died in 2020.

Understood. Which is why you would think those professions would take care of their health. How many times have I seen an obese cop, nurse, nurses smoking on break, etc.. Yes, they have more situations of exposure. If you side with the terrain theory though instead of the germ theory (which doesn't hold water 99% of the time) you will survive. Also to your point, yes certain things aren't always a choice. That being said, things like epigenetics show us you can have a tremendous influence on your outcome based on how you live. Also, being old doesn't disqualify you from health. It's not how old you are overall, it's how you have lived over the years. I have older patients that are healthier than some of my younger patients. The root problem is we aren't taught what health is and how to have it. That's the bottom line to me in this whole scamdemic.

I only throw that question out there because.... Critical thinking and all! kinda goes with my assumption as to why I know NOBODY that has been in the hospital or has died from this. Many said this was a very strong flu season so yes more difficult than the regular flu season. It wasn't more than that though. Guess what, if you keep testing most if not all people will be shown to have been exposed to it. You have been exposed to so much stuff in your life that you aren't even aware of because you don't get tested for something you have no symptoms of typically, until this scamdemic. Again, big difference FROM it compared to WITH it. Also, just because you don't have apparent comorbidity issues by no means means you are healthy with optimal function. I've had patients who were seemingly fine their whole life, didn't feel well and suddenly died of aggressive asymptomatic cancers. They've even named it "silent cancer." Also, sometimes the very first symptom of a heart attack is the heart attack. Goes back to what the average individual thinks "health" is. I will say it again, healthy functioning people don't die FROM covid.
