My local gun store had one of them on the shelf this afternoon. Pretty little gun stainless with gray wood furniture.
I will have to wait until I have shot one. I have several Henry rifles and a couple of JM Marlins. Just having my hands and eyes on it the fit and finish are great. The action is smooth and the peep rear sight makes picking up the front sight really easy. It is heavy as like it was built for work. They are neat looking guns. How do they compare to a Henry?
Ehh already have 2 of those, 2 in 41 magnum, 1 in 44 Magnum, 1 in 35 Remington and 1 in 17 HMR. So versatility isn’t really a consideration for me..357 Magnum is so much more versatile for a levergun.
.357 Magnum.30-30 is so much more versatile for a levergun.
I'll see your 30-30 and raise you a 45-70FIFY

The best thing you can do with a Rossi is leave it at the gun store.I saw a new Rossi lever through the glass at a Walmart. Black on Black, carbine, tactical looking. I wanted to get my paws on one but didn't want to go to the trouble of finding the employee with keys.
About 20 years ago I bought my son a Rossi youth 410 single for his tenth birthday . It was a very solid piece with nice blue and hardwood. Kids grow quickly so we ended up trading it towards his first adult deer rifle. The best thing you can do with a Rossi is leave it at the gun store.
