My wife's Uncle went to Cuba on a cruise last November. He said there is NO WORK ETHIC down there because everything is handed to them, free of charge. He said they get free milk for their infants, the problem is, they have no baby bottles to deliver the milk to the child. So, many people line up at the cruise line docks and ask people getting off the boats for their water bottles.
He was driven around in, what he described, as a beautiful 1957 Chevy Belair. except, it had a VW diesel engine, a Ford transmission, and a GMC rear end. And the cars are handed down from family member to family for generations because they have not had a new car down there in 60 years.
Cuba IS a fully functional socialist society. It's not as bad as Venezuela simply because of size and population and isolation.

I cannot understand why people on the Left are interested in taking political cues from children.
These children have minimal knowledge. This is a result of their young ages and their indoctrination through state-sanctioned curricula.
These children, by definition, have minimal life experiences.
Therefore, since true wisdom comes through a synthesis of knowledge and life experiences, these children are also bereft of wisdom.
There is still hope for some of these children go grow up, learn more, and to become wise. Until then, why is the Liberal Left insisting that our greater society look to them for guidance?
