I share now , and have shared in the past, similar concerns. However perhaps it is time to stop quivering in the shadows. We have held fast in the past, we shall hold fast now. And for some time I have sensed a growing undercurrent, a rejection of the mass media drivel. It is not reported on of course but I do get a sense that the silent majority are tired of this terrible status quo but see this constant call for gun control as part of that staus quo. Perhaps people will begin demanding for other solutions, real, effective soloutions. Modern society's handling of mental illness is woefully inept.Every time one of these wacko's does something like this the anti's get more traction. We need to stand our ground and not give an inch. The more they take the more they want. Unfortunately I see dark times coming.
There are some veterans who chose teaching as a post military career option. Unfortunately the teaching profession tends to be more populated with idealistic liberals. I was lucky to have had Korean vets as some of my high school teachers.I am so sick and tired of this same old narrative. It's boring and old, but unfortunately at least half this country is fucking sheep that buy into it.
So we need to push our agenda that we end gun free school zones and put armed security in schools, while also allowing teachers to carry once properly trained.

Saw that too. Wife heard it, standing ovation. She has real life experience in owing firearms to keep a stalker away.Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was just on Neil Cavuto, she is not blaming guns, quite the opposite!!!!! Refreshing.
Robin
She cannot understand the difference between MAKING teachers carry and GIVING THEM THE CHOICE!
Teachers should have the choice and if they want to they should seek out the proper training.
Sooner or later it will go something like this:
1. Detachable magazines banned, then
2. Semi autos banned, then
3. Military calibers banned, then
4. Maximum of 10 firearms at a household, then
5. One pistol allowed per household, max caliber 380acp, then
6. Removal of any firearms from residence banned, then
7. Ammo purchases limited and registered
Our kids will be left with primarily 22lr and 12 gauge.
Similar to Mexico which has in its constitution the right to keep and bear arms.
