I have a factory 30-06 SPS barrel as well it had about 100 rounds through it before I put the Hart barrel on.

sometimes the rifle deals are cheaper than the action alone. So we have to look for them. I might have 5 or 6 still unfired.
Some factory barrel are actually ok. some are crap. sometimes I re-chamber them.
Last one I re-chambered a 270 to 270 Weatherby magnum. 6.8 120gr sst at 3,400fps lol. talking about melting tips. lol
I am going to sell this one and a few others. I cannot keep up anymore.
bottom line, there is always a future project!
