I love to do the after dinner late night stuffing part.
On my 5th glass of bourbon (this is my first night actually getting to enjoy some drinks and not having to worry about having work the next day in the past ....... 3 months I think it's been?)
So my response there may have been some mid evening stuffing at earlier tonight but I cant say that

Yeah NY is a GREAT place for gun owners. and the bad guys always get their due, and the good guys never get hassled.. I dunno, thats not how a lot of folks see it.
Look I am not here to argue, and yes I understand the NY law as written.. However NY is notorious on a local level for prosecuting those that have used deadly force regardless of what the law states..
I am on another much larger national gun forum, that shows a lot more respect towards individual members, and let them know about this thread.. The opinions there are quite different regarding the NY castle doctrine/duty to retreat laws than they are here, and discussion is decidedly more civil and friendly . No one needs to be ridiculed , opinions can be discussed in a more congenial manner.. Enjoy your forum my friends, its not for me... bob

Ed is not a bad guy but he can at times take things to a level that doesn’t require it. Don’t take it personal. He’s done that to me as well and later on some other thread he’s the one on my side doing it to someone else. That’s just the way he is I guess.

Hey dont take offense. Chilax a little. Most of the stuff is said should be challenged and argued. It is nothing personal. Ny is full of radicals who think conservatives should be put in concentration camps. Sometimes we see new folks stsrting conversations for the sole purpose of trolling and confusing so some other folks.might be already on the defensive atritude.
I understand how some.DAs might charge someone in NY for using self defense. That does not change the written law and that is why one should have a very good lawyer.
In reality nobody sane wants to be in thst situation where someone has to hurt or klll another human and deal with all the nightmares of the aftermarh but humans will always try to survive given the opportunity as we are actually hardwired to survive if we can help ourselves.
That is natural law. I tend to look for shooting soorts, firearms and ballistics threads vs this type of threads that can go all over the place and asd little to no value.
