man....Im ny mind say Im a gun maker...say IM a ruger.....I will stop selling in to NY distrubutors then vs put all that RD money into microstamping.....hell ny vs the rest of the world..........I mean a unique identifier on that small of a space...no way it wont be woth mfgs money to due that and if so they cost will get passed to consumer...so a normally 800 gun now 1200.

According to the text it looks like four different criteria need to be met for it to go into affect , but I’m sure as soon as the police say yeah we’re good they’ll start Telling gun dealers to take noncompliant pistols off the shelf.

Tolerate? I think if . Gov told people to jump off a cliff they would. Most people seem to only care about is when their next entertainment experience is. People don't stand for shit anymore. Path of least resistance is front and foremost.

Seeing as there is no such thing as micro stamping. It will be like NJ and their smart gun law... on the books for decades and never actually go into effect

Not so , California has it on the books it’s been law for years now I think they introduced it in 2007 and they went into affect in 2013 the current vice president who served as Attorney General there said that micro stamping was good to go and it was implemented now no new handguns are sold in California and that exact same thing is going to happen here. When you walk into a gun shop around here you see the shelves stocked with Smith and Wesson M & P‘s lots of Glocks , SIGs ,Kimbers and everything else under the sun those are all going to be gone now.
