I would give it one last push and get out. Not worth it to remain. Maybe work security in jersey for shits and giggles . Lots of cushy decent paying security jobs there and in much better neighborhoods than working security in Manhattan for example.
My wife works for a former NYPD SGT who got hired as the Security Director of a Marriot hotel. The former Sgt makes a pretty good chunk of change. I do not how how much she makes but being that regular security makes about $50,000 for the year, it’s got to be at least a 1/3rd more than that.

Did you guys see the video of Minneapolis police shooting people who were on their porch with non lethal rounds?
They were marching down the street telling people to get in the house to enforce the curfew and when they stayed on their porch, the police opened fire. Not sure how I feel about that. I see both sides have valid arguments for and against this tactic.

There is a lot of stuff to legitimately criticize the police for in this. To their credit there have been a bunch of officers fired for that sort of thing in the last couple days.
Unlike the left however I am able to separate my feelings about the bad officers who need to go from the good ones who are trying to do the right thing in a very difficult situation.
At the same time, I can separate my feelings about legitimate protesters from rioters.
