Yup, exactly what happened here already. We stopped policing about 2 years ago. Some traffic stops, a bunch of dumb videos and feel good events, and a lot of taking reports. It was a huge breath of fresh air for any cop smart enough to take advantage of it. The ones who don’t are doing it to themselves.

I dont think he did this on purpose, his mind may have been stressed and he wasnt thinking right. His fellow officers let him down . This could have been avoided my tapping him on the shoulder and telling him to move his knee on his back.

Prisons are full of people who just made a mistake once in their life and are paying for it. These riots may have been avoided and his family may have been better off if he was arrested and put in a cell right away.
