There is sufficient"complicating" evidence that it is highly likely the original charges against all 4 cops will be reduced or that the other 3 are possibly acquitted. Minneapolis residents may as well move out now because when that happens the resulting riots will make the first round seem tame in comparison.
So it has come out that George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose. The cop using an approved restraint technique was not the cause of death. Not only were the drug levels in his system fatal, but they were 30% higher than the average fatal level of fentanyl. This is game changing! This is what happens when people jump to conclusions and don't wait to hear the facts. Just like Michael Brown "hands up don't shoot"! It's all bullshit!

That doesn’t change the fact that a hold like that is only supposed to be temporary. It’s supposed to be temporary because the one who placed such hold, isn’t a qualified professional that has run a battery of tests on the individual to determine what one person could withstand and another cannot withstand.
Bottom line. There is no reason whatsoever to hold someone like that for 9 minutes. None. He was handcuffed. It would be physically impossible for him to escape while on the ground in the presence of 3 officers.

Incorrect. If no pressure to neck, no death. Whether he would’ve lasted longer due to fentanyl in his system or breathing issues due to Covid is irrelevant. The choke killed him. If he was just handcuffed and not had had continuous trauma and pressure, he would not have died. It’s like doing the same thing to you and doing the same thing to an 80-year-old lady. The lady’s age wouldn’t be what killed her. The continuous choke would.
And for the record I don’t give two fucks about this dude. But the truth is the truth. That could be me one day if I’m sick with a cold and congestion along with being drunk. In that case my congestion wouldn’t be what killed me. The actual continuous choke would.

Drugs take time to kick in. If he swallowed pills when the officers approached they would need to be digested and enter the bloodstream. Once again, you think you are smarter than the experts and know more than the people directly involved. Give it a rest. This whole case is crumbling down.

That’s not what happened and there is no evidence of him swallowing pills seconds before being pulled over. The autopsy would have revealed the undigested pills

How can you make that point? It isn’t that uncommon for someone with opioids onboard to start showing signs of an OD while interacting with others including PD. Hell I’ve Narcaned people at intersections in their car after stopping at a light then going out.. foot still on the brake. Kinda scary when you think about who your sharing the road with. Pills would be digested long before an autopsy would be performed. Pills fully dissolve usually within 30 minutes, a simple search reveals.
The absence of pills does not mean the fatal levels in the blood magically disappear. He somehow injected or ingested a fatal level of drugs and died as a result. End of story.

Let me ask you this. You subdue someone. He’s handcuffed. He can’t get away. He complains of not being able to breathe. He’s calling out for his mother. Bystanders are yelling at you to release the knee from his neck. He stop stops yelling. He stops breathing. Are you still going to hold the knee to his neck for no other reason than to spite onlookers? If your answer is yes, than you are a fool. And based on some of your responses on this forum, I wouldn’t be surprised if your answer is yes.
Bottom line. There was no reason whatsoever to keep a knee on his neck after he was handcuffed on his belly. None. He cannot get away. Impossible. He cannot reach for your gun. Impossible. Now assuming that he OD’ed like you say which the 2nd autopsy says wasn’t the cause of death, wouldn’t it be better for you if he OD’d and died on his own while you called EMS?
Or is it better for you to jeopardize your life for your own ego and to continue to hold a knee to his neck? Even after there was no more movement. Continue to hold the knee while looking at the crowd.

EMS was called. Twice. All you see is an approved knee on the back of a neck. You have no gauge of pressure applied at that point. The only FACT that matters is what killed him. The answer to that is fentanyl. Now if you want to change the approved tactics, that is another story and one that I believe has already taken place. A drug OD does not warrant an arrest and there will never be a conviction. Move on.

As far as approved methods go, they are approved dependent on the situation. He was already subdued. Using an ASP and a tazer is also an approved method but not while someone is in handcuffs. Choke holds are approved in certain departments but not after subdued in handcuffs.

Listen. The only thing that matters is the fact that boy George died from a drug overdose. Not a typical one, but one 30% over the average fatal OD. He hit it hard! That suggests he started swallowing pills quick when he saw the cops approach him for his counterfeit money crime. It also explains why he was fine and able to fight the officers then after being restrained the pills were absorbed and he died of an OD. The timeline lines up perfectly. (30 min to dissolve pills) None of that matters though. All that matters is the fatal dose measured in his blood. There will never be a murder conviction in this case and the world is a better place without boy George.
