Ehh I think he went off on a tangent, "you will be looked at like a criminal" yeah, ok sure. I have so much home defense ammo laying around from 35 years of shooting and moving that invariably some magazines have one or two of several different rounds in them. The I look like a criminal will quickly be dismissed as a lawyer trying to tarnish my reputation.Ha! I just watched that a few hours ago.
I concur.
or use 10mm but a da is still gonna try and make it relevantA good shoot is a good shoot,it doesnt become criminal cause you have mixed ammo.

I do think the emphasis on the cop perception of mixed ammo was over emphasised but I do steadfastly stand by my previous point. It is important to know how your gun will perform in a given situation and loading diiferent ammunition in the same magazine(cylinder) is counterproductive to this. There are enough variables in a defensive shooting as it is. To my mind adding further variables is unwise and borderline irresponsible. And on the case of loading different ammunituon due using up odd ammounts from various boxes comes across, to me, as lackadaisical. Odd amounts of ammo should be burned up at the range. Preparing for a defensive encounter is a serious matter and should likewise be be taken seriously.I know you like him Pod but I can't stand him. Every video he says something that makes me cringe.
Whether or not you agree it is still important to be cognizant of the potential pitfalls.Getting hard being a a CCWer.

Cant do that if every option is taken away by your own paranoia prior to the fight.Whether or not you agree it is still important to be cognizant of the potential pitfalls.
To defeat your enemy you must be able to think like your enemy, be it on the battlefield, the streets........or the courtroom.
Awarness is not paranoia.Cant do that if every option is taken away by your own paranoia prior to the fight.
Negative.Awarness is not paranoia.
Your statement follows the same faulty logical of those that claim CCWers are being paranoid when they carry. Awarness is preparedness and neither need be paranoia.
No, the logic is "Do as you think as necessary but be aware of the potential consequences".Negative.
My logic is "better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it."
Theirs is "why chance the legal trouble later?"
...sound reasons of course not having anything to do with all the things I posted. No, the logic is "Do as you think as necessary but be aware of the potential consequences".
Ultimately comes down to if something is worth doing its worth doing right. Self defense is, as I have said, a serious matter with many facets. It is foolish to blithely go about it without due consideration. Use whatever ammunition, guns, gear or whatever you wish but have sound reasons for your choices.
I think you are missing my point....sound reasons of course not having anything to do with all the things I posted.
Which, if that list continues on from just "every conceivable ridiculous thing I could think of" to "every conceivable thing that has been said on the subject", would paralyze them.I think you are missing my point.
You say that all your listed concerns threaten to paralyze one into inaction.
I say it need not be paralyzing, just consider them and base your actions accordingly. As you see fit.
Punisher backplate on a Glock? Going to fry.
I mix live rounds and snap caps. Let's see how well I can clear a jam in a real life situation!
