I'll start it off. Glock 26. Not pretty. I don't spend much time looking at it and admiring it it's lines and pretty colors like some guys here do with their guns. It just a tool that works. No primer drag and no hiccups.

First, the first of the first, not mine, but honestly I want one. (Well first commercially successful)
Now two of mine, a CZ P-07 with RMR RM07 and a CHOPPED Glock 17 (one good part about polymer, I wanted my Glock 17 to take Glock 19 magazines, so took a dremel and now it does)

And here we have a glock 19 that I chopped to take G26 magazines
Then because I wanted just a regular(ish) glock 19 for EDC I spent a few bucks and got another glock 19 frame and can switch back and forth the slide depending on what one I want to use

I'm tossed but between buying another 19 or modifying my 21 for competition shooting. I want to get into it this spring finally at the range after seeing some videos made by friends. Looks like a lot of fun. My friend tells me that the 21 would put me in the higher power class but that I could still reload lower power rounds to manage recoil.
The power factor shouldnt be an issue for you. What mods are you planning on doing? And also what competition, could be a difference between IDPA carry optics or IPSIC limited or open class
Oh or GSSF factory and unlimited (I think that's what they call the open class) like I know I really want to do the GSSF in September, and I know I will 100% have to be in the unlimited, unless I can budget a new G17 slide (and probably new set of sights)
