In My area the shoulders are just as clear as the road. People put their trash pickup on the edge of the lawn..not on the shoulder. I drive through My area every day and the only traffic that screws things up is the bikes and their IGNORANT riders

I’m not talking literal garbage, I’m talking rocks, debris, broken pavement, etc. Things most people in cars wouldn’t notice or care about.

You call drivers rude for wanting to go around cyclists, but it’s not rude for cyclists to force me to drive 8-10 miles per hour in a 30-45mph zone, got it. It’s rude either way and this is what causes drivers to be impatient. They could go single file when a car comes to let the car pass. A little courtesy both ways goes pretty far.
