Most of the SS190XXX variants will punch through type III body armor w/o problems as well as hard steel and auto glass w/o much deflection
and they are available to the public. In the earlier years the concern was more about the hogue convention for military use than restricting civilians
so civilians have more options than military. This is the case with any service round in small arms.

In terms of the SIG (or the 9x25D even better) with full power ammo and 80gr solids are also a simple and powerful choice.

True. You are correct with the Tavor and magazine capacity however 60 Rd magazines are available for the AR platform.
Ok. P90 19.9 inches total length. Muzzle velocity 2350 fps.
7.5 inch SBR 23.5 inches. Muzzle velocity 2600 fps with the 50 gr TSX.
3 inch difference. Not worth it in my opinion for a regular dude. The AR is more versatile.
You are only looking at one part of the size of the gun, especially if you are talking about a 60 round magazine.
The SS carry the P90, they carry it under their blazers even and can do so because of the size, you cant do that with a tavor.
Take that out of the equation. Motorcades use these as well, why because they are easier to use in compact areas, they are more versatile than a bulpup because they are ambidextrous and the bottom ejecting port is again better than an AR or tavor.
No one is saying the AR 15 / M4 what ever is bad, no one is saying the 5.56 is inadequate. But it isnt a master of all trades, there are other guns that perform other tasks better than an AR15, it's a niche area but there are those areas

PA if you SBR the P90 damn good house gun, again smaller and easier to manipulate in a house or apartment

Less than a 4 inch difference. 19.9 vs 23.5 for better ballistics in a 7.5 inches AR. Even better ballistics with a Tavor at 22.8 inches overall length with a 13 inch barrel. And if you run it without a muzzle device the difference is even less.
