Thin Blue Line Flag Removed By Sheriff For Being ‘Offensive’
Multnomah County, OR – Multnomah County Sheriff Mike Reese recently removed an American Blue Line flag from an employee breakroom after it was deemed “offensive.”

The flag came from Police Memorial Week held annually in Washington, D.C. It has great significance because it stands for all fallen police officers, according to the Willamette Valley Lodge #7.

They said that it “represents all of the sacrifices that law enforcement has made, and our brothers and sisters who have laid down their lives.”
The flag hung at at unknown date by an unknown person in the corrections officers’ breakroom at the Multnomah County Courthouse. That breakroom is for employees’ use only, and public access is not allowed. Its current location, and who took it down is also unknown.

Sheriff Reese ordered the flag be removed because it was “offensive,” according to Oregon Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7. The Lodge said that it had received complaints from its members about the flag being removed.

I've got one hanging on the front of my house alongside a standard American flag.If anyone dares try to make me take it down there will be trouble.I opened the door the other day to a couple of jehovas,when I opened the door the first thing this bitch said was,"I'd like to ask you about that flag" I quickly said "go fuck yourself OFF my porch" and slammed the door.Could have been an honest question,but I wasnt waiting to hear any spiel from them.A lot of people dont know what it stands for.When I first moved here,very small town,I had 3 different people ask if it was some kind of "anarchist symbol".I explained, in a much friendlier fashion, to them what it meant and stood for.Each of them apologized for their mistake.

Yes your right. My dads department does not have ar15's because they can't afford the training. We have a police boat(useless), a dock, and the boat is not docked at the police station boat dock. We pay to dock it outside of my city. Best is they are going for a week long training on how to use the police boat sonar. No ar-15's, but boat sonar. That's the liberal mindset.
