Was with the wife at cabela's and this caught her eye. She mentioned how nice looking it is, and I could get it if I want. So now it sits awaiting me on layaway.

I stay away from most things taurus other than the pt92, which I also own. My opinion - they make the beretta better than beretta.

I didn't know about this 45 cal model, it's been discontinued for a while. It's based on the 92 alloy frame, with a Sig 220 looking slide. Searching reviews looks like it's very reliable like the 92 and will eat anything. Best thing about it is the frame mounted safety and decocker allowing for double action carry, or cocked and locked single action. Nice and light to boot. Can't wait to pick it up!

Yeah its a little flashy, but it's not really a normal use gun for me. Just a little something different to have. Besides, you can never have enough 45's you know. This sucker will take your head clean off lol.

That is the ugliest gun I have seen. The blue frame.... yuck. Make sure you get a loud suit and a gold Rolex president if you carry that.

Like it. I went through a phase a few years ago where I pimped a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry. Smith and Alexander smooth, contoured rosewood grips, titanium nitride gold grip screws, trigger, and hammer. Had the flats of the slide mirror polished, it was pretty! Just couldn't get it to function 100% with hollow points. Sold it for a couple hundred dollars more than I had in it.
That series of Taurus has been around for quite some time. I worked at a gun shop in Florida that rented guns and we had a 92 with over 150,00 rounds through it. The frame finally cracked and Taurus replaced it. The 945 probably had 50,000 through it. Not a fan of some of their other stuff and for a while their customer service was very bad, but it seems like they are turning things around. Really like the look and feel of the 945! Nice!!

^^^ The Glock 30 is the way a fighting pistol should look :D...but I like your Taurus as well, very unique. Different strokes for different folks!

Just trying to piss off the Glock guys and gals. As stated, this won't be shot much, just added to the collection. Will probably be the nightstand gun.

blind an intruder with the gold if need be. The one you bought is not bad looking. That blue Sig is the worst though.
