Here it is in action:Compared to my Para 2 the Sage 5's action is not as free and silky but it is very solid and positive which I like. Its seems plenty sturdy for hard EDC use but it is not overbuilt. I have already used it to open the many packages and boxes and their contents I had waiting on my return. It slices extremely well and its ergros are excellent. I'd put it on par with the Paramilitary series with the Paras leaning towards a more "tactical" flavor and the Sage more towards a Gentleman's folder.

That's a beauty ,and great pics too. I have owned Spydercos since they appeared on the market,never been let down. My first Spyderco still lives on,albeit no serrations are still visible.
