No worries, just thought I'd offer. Mine is and has always been a long gun, so this whole ATF change of mind doesn't affect me.

2nd yea I saw them announce this a little but back and didnt even think how it would affect these "firearms" which sucks not for the boring ass plug and plays that people have (I mean yes those as well) but for your project which just came out awesome..

It was a fun journey to watch sorry it had to end. Hope to see the birds head you plan to add

I'm not sure I want to keep it the same diameter from receiver to sling stud, or maybe flare it out like a revolver. We'll see.

Fuck the tang safety. Took me two days to get the gold trigger into the Maverick 88 trigger group. I am NOT taking another Mossberg trigger group apart. Ever.

Why would you need to take anything more apart? The trigger groups are self contained are they not? You had trouble just because you were trying to swap triggers. You could just get another 500 trigger group that uses the tang safety and bob's your uncle.
