I hear you. I can't even recall everything from the purge moving north. I do recall the para FAL, the Izzy HB, the 16" imbel brush gun, a target gun built by Ed Vandenberg (photo of similar rifle attached) and the L1A1. Wonder where my name came from...

Also, really regret having to sell my P226 with the marking "made in W Germany" on it. Y'know, the good ones. I should have stayed in Texas. At least my Daniel Defense AR is spiffier than the Colt 6920 I had, so that at least one mistake corrected. I also regret selling the Bulgy '74. When it comes to AKs I like the 5.45 guns right alongside ARs. That was back when you could get crates of 7n6 for $174. If I had any sense I would have stayed in TX and stacked a bunch of those crates away.

In my younger and stupider days, a S&W 60, two Ruger 22's, my Winchester 94AE, and 870 Wingmaster. Guess I'd better add my 788's in 223 and 7mm-08, and my mini14. Guess that about covers everything I've sold in the last 35 years that I wish I hadn't.

Most of you don't know, but back in the day, when freedom reigned, you could advertise your personal property, be it a bicycle or a gun, in the newspaper, or local Pennysaver. You didn't need by law to include the government in your personal transactions. It was a better country back then, for everyone.
