There have been numerous times in the past where the Republicans, supposedly the group most willing to support the Constitution, have held the majority in both Houses at the same time they held the Presidency. Yet nothing has come of it.
They are too afraid of upsetting enough of America to lose their jobs. totally ignoring the fact that their job is to do the will of the People.

True, but things are perhaps a little different now now that washington has basically been usurped. Let's see shall we? That gets passed and be damned with company policy, I'll be packing all day everyday!

I am making my prediction as follows:

In 2017, the Supreme Court -- sitting with two new Trump appointees (one a Scalia replacement and one a Ruth Bader Ginsburg replacement since she is going to drop dead or be put in a nursing home later this year) -- will determine that strict scrutiny is the correct standard for review of any restriction on the RKBA in a case brought out of the 9th Circuit.

The Sullivan Law and the SAFE Act will be challenged, and the Second Circuit -- again featuring new judges appointed by Trump -- will then be struck down as an arbitrary and unconstitutional licensing scheme.

A new must issue CCW law is introduced. By 2019, CCW becomes common. Subway slashings drop 90%.

This should come under the "Full faith and credit" clause, same as drivers licenses, duly issued in one state, honored in all states. It won't be that simple, but lets push the hell out of it.
