It will be for a Ruger 10/22 Target Lite model. Use case is target shooting at 50 and 100 yards. I would like a 10x magnification up top and something not too bulky or heavy as the idea is to have a rifle that isn't too heavy for offhand shooting. Budget is around $400 but I'd consider spending a little more for something especially suitable. I would like some kind of graduated reticle so I can zero at 50 yards and hold over at 100. Adjustable parallax is a plus.
I am mostly looking a a Meopta Optika 5 2.5-10 which offers all of the above but finding the rimfire specific model with the graduated reticle as opposed to the plain is proving difficult so I wonder what other options I might have. There are plenty of 2-7 and 3-9 options but I'd really like a 10x magnification, 3x9 scopes all seem to be of the plain jane variety and I'd like something just a bit nicer as I will be turning the Ruger into something a bit more special as I have done with my Mk IV.
Also on a 10/22 would low rings provide clearance for a 42mm objective? I prefer to keep my optic as low as practical.
