Good News from Bad News.. A few days ago a business owner was shot and killed for 80 bucks in an armed robbery, and then the 7-11 Store 3 blocks from my house was also hit within an hour of the original robbery. Detectives from NFPD showed up at my door because I have cameras all over my property and asked if I would be willing to assist with helping to identify the get away vehicle. Turns out I had it on 5 separate camera angles and was able to provide then with all of the video they needed. During the half hour or so of pulling the video I mentioned that my CCW was sitting at NFPD waiting for detectives to call references and do the interview. Almost in chorus they said - we have your info and will get that done for you. Right now they have 5 detectives doing 100% of all CCW permits for the city, and have permit applications back to early 2017 to process. The said quite plainly they just don't have the manpower to work them all because of the extremely high crime rate in Niagara Falls. The detective who has mine gave me his card and personal cell number and said it "would be taken care of", shook my hand and thanked me for assisting them. Hopefully we will see some action here soon!
He approved it, and it is on the way to the Judge. Sometime soon I will be able to participate in the Pistol Show off thread. Can't say enough how easy the interview was.
