It's not. This, and others like it will be struck down. States cannot obstruct a federal election system. The dems cannot produce a winning candidate so this is their means of trying to stay in power.

By the time the courts rule on this, may be after the election in 2020. An election that Trump will win. What this may do is toss the Presidency into an absolute crisis.
If the Courts do not rule not prior to the election, someone else may win under these bullshit rules. After careful review, that person will be handed a big fat lose. This is going to be a really fun election cycle.

I think it's entirely possible that there will be scenarios like the above Nevada voter rules where dependent upon how votes get counted both candidates will claim victory.

Yes. In theory the electors are chosen by the party to represent their state but they can vote however they want. If you recall there was a movement to have the electors change their votes and prevent trump from becoming president when the last electoral college met.
What has been a formality for the past 200 years will now become yet another political battle ground thanks to the goddam losers on the left that simply will do anything to obtain and keep power. Maybe we should have that second civil war soon to resolve these issues once and for all.
