Mitch McConnell won't / can't force the vote until he can get the votes needed. That includes 3 of the 4 RINO's. If McConnell was confident that he could get 3 of those 4 RINO's to vote yea, it is speculated the vote would of happened.
The 4 RINO's, Collins, Murkowski, Corker, and Blake, said that they need to hear Blasey Ford's testimony before they can make a decision on their vote. That is why Chuck Grassley has bent over backwards to give Blasey Ford the opportunity to testify.

So what I get from reading and listening to everything that I have. The Republicans in general aren't screwing things up.
It's the 4 RINO's that are screwing this all up. If it wasn't for them 4 RINO's the vote would have been pushed through ( before this second accusation surfaced.) McConnell needs 3 of them RINO's to vote yea. As it looks like possibly 2 Democrats in red states are likely to cross party lines and vote yea. That would be Joe Manchin of West Virginia and I can't remember the other one.

So it's not so much the Republicans fault as a whole that a vote hasn't happened by now. It's the 4 RINO's holding things up.
From what I can tell Corker and Murkowski are on the fence possibly leaning to vote yea, Collins is somewhere in the middle.
The big problem is that asshole RINO Jeff Blake. As I understand it, the Republicans don't necessarily need Blake's vote though. But without Blake's vote the Republicans will need the vote of the other 3 RINO's and a Democrat.

I just wanted to post this because some members here are calling for a vote now.

Everything in this post may not be 100% accurate but I think that I am close to it.

North Dakota's Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, Indiana's Sen. Joe Donnelly and West Virginia's Joe Manchin will more than likely vote to confirm. They are all up for re-election in strong Trump States. Their re-elections mean more to them than these games. Jon Tester of Montana, I think he is a go as well.

Susan Collins of Maine, she will defiantly vote to confirm, so will Jeff Flake. I am not at all worried about Bob Cocker either.

If all the Republicans voted to confirm, then he would be in.

Therefore the Republicans have the votes, it's just that a couple of them aren't willing to cooperate.

this is no longer about Kavanaugh, this is about the NEXT nominee. If the liberal/ progress get there way, you can forget having another seat filled. They will delay and we will have an open seat on the court for the next 6 years.

If the Liberal/progress lose the Kavanaugh nomination, the next nominee will sail through with little resistance from the left.

November election is so critical now it's not funny.

Yeah I know there are enough votes if all of the 51 Republican Senators voted to confirm.

There are 51 Republican Senators... 50 *yea's* are needed to confirm Judge Kavanaugh
The Senate is made up of 51 Republicans and 49 Democrats. 100 Senators in total.
Vice President Mike Pence's *yea* vote would be a tie breaker if needed.

From all of the information that I am taking in.
The 4 RINO's that may not vote *yea* to confirm Judge Kavanaugh are,
Jeff Blake - Arizona,,, Susan Collins - Maine,,, Bob Corker - Tennessee,,, Lisa Murkowski - Alaska.

The longer this goes on the more people who will come out. That sows FUD. People can argue that if 10 people come out and "even if only two of them are telling the truth!" then he was bad with two. If they drag this out six months we'll have 1-2 dozen women accusing him.

The people she is relying on are only there to backup her story that she said something about it LONG AFTER THE FACT. Actually, I believe the closest one to the indicated offense time period is her husband, who claims she told him about it sometime before the therapy session in which no names were named and the number of people involved was stated inaccurately (not something I would expect a professional therapist to do). All the others were say she told them after 2013, and a couple were after 2017.

Sorry, but hearsay being backed up by people saying she told them doesn't make it truth.

All supposed "witnesses" to the actual crime have stated, publicly, that it did not happen or they weren't there. The rest are now witnesses to slander.
