Movie is Trainspotting, I think Spud was on saving private ryan, though. I @*#&ing love this damn movie. Sorry to take off course, but this Kavanaugh thing is a tight rope.Is that the dude from saving private Ryan or goose from the movie Pearl Harbor?he kind of looks like him.
He will be confirmed and he will be just as useless as all others.
I am not generally that guy but- more useless than a second Hillary Clinton nominee, or less?
TL;DR --- The Republicans don't have the votes needed at this time to push it through.
My understanding is this, the problem is (other than the Dems BS) is the fact that there are 4 RINO's holding up the vote for conformation... Susan Collins,,, Lisa Murkowski,,, Bob Corker,,, And the newly crowned king of RINO's Jeff Blake.
Mitch McConnell won't / can't force the vote until he can get the votes needed. That includes 3 of the 4 RINO's. If McConnell was confident that he could get 3 of those 4 RINO's to vote yea, it is speculated the vote would of happened.
The 4 RINO's, Collins, Murkowski, Corker, and Blake, said that they need to hear Blasey Ford's testimony before they can make a decision on their vote. That is why Chuck Grassley has bent over backwards to give Blasey Ford the opportunity to testify.
So what I get from reading and listening to everything that I have. The Republicans in general aren't screwing things up.
It's the 4 RINO's that are screwing this all up. If it wasn't for them 4 RINO's the vote would have been pushed through ( before this second accusation surfaced.) McConnell needs 3 of them RINO's to vote yea. As it looks like possibly 2 Democrats in red states are likely to cross party lines and vote yea. That would be Joe Manchin of West Virginia and I can't remember the other one.
So it's not so much the Republicans fault as a whole that a vote hasn't happened by now. It's the 4 RINO's holding things up.
From what I can tell Corker and Murkowski are on the fence possibly leaning to vote yea, Collins is somewhere in the middle.
The big problem is that asshole RINO Jeff Blake. As I understand it, the Republicans don't necessarily need Blake's vote though. But without Blake's vote the Republicans will need the vote of the other 3 RINO's and a Democrat.
I just wanted to post this because some members here are calling for a vote now.
Everything in this post may not be 100% accurate but I think that I am close to it.
On a side note,
Have you ever seen a person driving like an a-hole. And as you notice all of the DENTS in their car.
You think,,, well no wonder, what an a-hole.
Jeff Blake's crooked nose makes me think of that... And I am sure he deserved it... LOL
If all the Republicans voted to confirm, then he would be in.How can they seize the opportunity if the votes aren't there.
Or do you think that the Republicans are lying and that they really do have the votes needed.
Just asking,,, I don't claim to know everything... LOL
This shit is giving me a headache... I think that it is time to go to my shooting spot for some fun.
If the Liberal/progress lose the Kavanaugh nomination, the next nominee will sail through with little resistance from the left.
How can they seize the opportunity if the votes aren't there.

Therefore the Republicans have the votes, it's just that a couple of them aren't willing to cooperate.
The longer this goes on the more people who will come out. That sows FUD. People can argue that if 10 people come out and "even if only two of them are telling the truth!" then he was bad with two. If they drag this out six months we'll have 1-2 dozen women accusing him.Now it's being reported that Ford now has FOUR people that will confirm her story?
which is interesting, seeing as she already said there were only four or five people at "the party" too start with?

You forgot to add all the backdoor deals that go along with their votes you know I scratch your back you pass all my pork belly dealings later on system is beyond corruptYeah I know there are enough votes if all of the 51 Republican Senators voted to confirm.
I could of, and should of, worded my post better... So that's on me man.
There are 51 Republican Senators... 50 *yea's* are needed to confirm Judge Kavanaugh
The Senate is made up of 51 Republicans and 49 Democrats. 100 Senators in total.
Vice President Mike Pence's *yea* vote would be a tie breaker if needed.
From all of the information that I am taking in.
The 4 RINO's that may not vote *yea* to confirm Judge Kavanaugh are,
Jeff Blake - Arizona,,, Susan Collins - Maine,,, Bob Corker - Tennessee,,, Lisa Murkowski - Alaska.
The 3 Democrats that might flip and vote *yea* to confirm Judge Kavanaugh are,
Joe Manchin - West Virginia,,, Heidi Heitkamp - North Dakota,,, Joe Donnelly - Indiana
I hope that I am correct with all of this so far. I think that I am.
From everything that I have heard or read, the opinion of most people is that. On the Republican side, Jeff Flake will be the biggest problem of the 4 RINO's... On the Democrat side, Joe Manchin would be the most likely one to flip.
Of course these are peoples "opinions" and those opinions vary. This thread is an example of that.
Lindsey Graham predicts Judge Kavanaugh is likely to get 55 or more votes for confirmation.
Graham says Kavanaugh likely to get '55 or higher' for confirmation
With that kind of prediction from an insider. I am starting to think that the republicans know that they have the votes needed
and are stringing the Democrats along to expose them for what they really are before the midterm elections.
But what do I know... LOL
From everything that I have learned the last couple of days.
IMO, the vote should happen as soon as possible.
There where so many people saying vote now, and that just didn't seem right to me.
So I figured that I might be missing something. So I spent last night and this morning learning more about this subject.
And now I agree,,, vote now.
I more or less posted this post for anyone else that is still trying to figure out what's going on and out how this process works.
If I am wrong on any of it, you guys let me know.
