The next decision/setup is how I actually want to mount the press to the bench. If I directly mount it to the bench there a 2x4 on end right in the bolting pattern. I could use lags for sure or long carriage bolts. My issue is if I use lags will they tear out in the long run? If I use bolts I doubt I will be able drill straight enough to come out where I want to be. There is also a third option of going with a strong mount. I already made the bench pretty tall so IDK if this extra height will be an issue. So any input you guys have would be appreciated.
