Stability. Or do you think you can shoot a stubby 3 finger grip gun as well as a full sized 4 finger grip gun? I sure can't. Even if I lived in NY still I'd have a full size gun for that reason alone.
Mecgar makes an excellent 18 round magazine for the 92. Just sayin'.
As for the 92X. Any DA/SA with an external safety gets a "meh" from me. For competition or target use give me a Single Action trigger, for everything else give me a decocker.
I still want the Wilson Combat Brigadier Tactical, Vertec grip version. No disrespect to the LTT.

Yea I think this is Single Action Only.

Frame mounted safety instead of slide mounted safety.

As for the magazine capacity, being a competition gun, unless you are shooting limited or open division you are limited to loading mags to 10 rounds no matter what state you are in.

Limited and open have no mag capacity restriction as long as it fits inside a specific box with the magazine.

Production, carry optics, and limited 10 are all 10 round mags

Well again this gun was specifically designed (beretta even has an interview talking about this) for competition shooting and to compete with things like custom 2011s CZ TSO and the likes

The gun was designed with actual IPSC team telling them how they wanted it exactly

I understand.

I just note that a lot of people tend to shy away from chunkier/heavier pistols out of some fear that the added weight will be a hindrance.

My point is that heavy pistols aren't all that heavy to carry, especially if that's the only thing you're carrying.
