A couple of thoughts...
Why get such a chunky pistol when you can only put 10 rounds in it? It would be a lot more appealing outside of NY.
What the duce is a "Match" take down lever???
Except very few here compete. They just get big guns become someone told them the sight radius myth as if an inch or less is going to be the difference between a hit or a miss at less than 15 something yards. Why get such a chunky gun? Well I guess reading is hard..
It's a competition gun.

Hell here are the IDPA rules (oh weird so many people shoot this using Glock 34s but why would anyone own a G34 here in NY when you can only have 10 rounds)

The pistol comes with two 15-cartridge magazines with an oversized rubber pad to give the dominant hand extra grip and to protect the magazine during quick change operations.

It's the same reason some get a Glock 17 instead of a 26 or 19. You know the whole Korean war frozen coat thing. Myths.
I'll put money down that you are correct that I haven't competed nor would I want to at this moment nor do I see the relevance in it if I did.But a lot of people compete and you can try and argue your whole "I shoot a 26 better than people shoot a 17" all you want because I'll put money down that you have never shot any competitions just static at a bench

My point still stands. For self defense distances coming from the nightstand to across the room or maybe down a hallway, an inch or less more isn't going to make a difference in a big, heavy, doofy, gun with a neutered 10 Rd magazine.
And I'll bet that only a handful of people here with big guns complete. You could probably count them on 2 hands.
Kev was and I was agreeing with him for that point.
I don't know the Benelli so I can't comment on that. And a Benelli MP90S would make a terrible defensive pistol but that's not the intended purpose? So what?
No need to. I'm taking about self defense myths.
Who said anything about a Glock 26 for competition?
Guess you should read then.No clue you brought up people only need a g26 or someshit
Guess you should read then.
How did I know you were going to respond and then say what you said?
Anyway, ever watch that Fudd Hickock. He shoots smaller guns better. If you watch him, he'll even dangle his pinky off of bigger guns. On Glock forums, you'll see ever once in a while people saying that they can shoot their 26 better than their full sized. You'll also find many women with smaller hands can shoot smaller guns better. I think you should look into that rather than drilling holes into everything and attaching every dodad onto your guns to make them heavier in chance that you can handle them better. Or perhaps downgrade to a .380. Those kick less.
