FYI, im 70, married with three grown kids, two grand kids and one great grand child. I live nw of dallas. I worked on cars most of my adult life and when I retired I spent six years working in a prison.

Welcome! Drove across Texas a couple of times. It took like what seemed weeks to get from one end of the state to the other. If I recall El Paso traffic sucked. Houston traffic really sucked. Frankly, it took years off my life.
Not sure why you would be interested in a NY forum as most of us are, I think I can safely say, miserable and clinically insane that we have to put up with the liberal ass wipes that run this state. There is essentially a law against every possible freedom.
Did you know it doesn't take 10 rounds to kill a deer? Just curious ...

we went from Phoenix to NY back in May. went to White Sands, then Fort Worth ( had to see the "cattle drive" at the stock yards, and the John Wayne Museum. Took us three days to get across TX. But traffic wasn't to bad, on a Sunday morning LOL

Although they say things are bigger in Texas, I found Texas Deer (at least from Waco on South) to be the size of my dogs and the Trees to be the size of my shrubs.
