Looks like NJ is going with a more "all civilians are equal" approach with their magazine ban.

Police are only exempt while on duty. Off duty they will not be allowed anything over 10 rounds.. they just released the statement that they plan to amend the new law to reflect this..

No this is different. The Safe Act forgot to exempt on duty officers.

Agreed, NJ wants to make it difficult for everyone including the same guys who need to enforce this law.

Well seeing as they are currently exempt, but they are trying to change it so they are not exempt, then yes hopefully it is changed, and they are subject to the same laws
