Well it’s 2022 now and I plan to keep my truck for another 10 years so that gets me to 2032. I’ll likely buy a new truck late 2032-2033. Then this will last me at least the other 10-12 years I have to work and I will then retire and not be in NYS. I’ll then just buy a larger 2500 pick up truck that is has to burn more gas. Hell I might even do that next just as a fuck you. I built my Ar’s as a fuck you just because the government didn’t want me to. Turned out to be a great decision.
Does "other powered equipment" mean things like tractors? We use side by sides and tractors to plow. How the hell are those supposed to work if they're battery powdered? Every time you raise or lower the plow you're taking power from the battery. I can't even imagine how long it'll take to do projects with a tractor if you need to stop and charge it every few hours. These idiots have no idea or they don't care how stupid their ideas are.

What will those tractors cost to replace? The electric cars are 50-75% more. Oops all the prices for everything will rise. Sure, sure you all can say the prices will come down but not where gas vehicles are today and I’ll tell you why, because we expect EV to be more expensive so therefore they will be more expensive.

I can tell you these decisions are stifling the economy. My wife and I were thinking of buying a bigger camper and I will tell her we’re are going to wait now because of this.
I have been looking for a sports car for a while and with all the shit going on I’m not sure I will. I see now places have gas to EV conversions for classic cars. How long before they ban all gas or gas is so rare or expensive I don’t want to be hassled to have some fun.

I’m not so sure honestly. It seems there is tons of bustle around about electric vehicles and many companies are moving this way on their own. This is IMO because of Europe. Biden is going in deep and will spend tons of money moving in this direction. The government has a great history of doing things that fail but spending way too much money to make it succeed.
I work for the government and they plan ought IPads to develop a program and it was done as far as I know. Now the problem is we don’t have the systems or the IT to support what they did. So we spent tons of Monet to do this so now we have unused IPads that will be out of date by the time this comes to fruition. Now they decided well we can do one small task on these IPads so they will give them to us. It’s a joke.
My point is they will do everything f they can to make this succeed and the car companies are on their side. GM didn’t just spend a Billion on that plant to not make EV’s. I’m not sure all the small engine stuff will succeed but who knows. I’ll drive to PA to buy my blower and rototiller s if need be.
I also wonder if they won’t register out of state purchased vehicles.
