I'd like to try one.
In a defensive situation, though, it's easier to throw a bunch of shells in a pocket and get into the fight with a tube-fed pump shotgun. It is easier to keep a tube-fed gun topped off than a magazine-fed shotgun if you don't have multiple magazines ready to go.
I think that a tube magazine along with the magazine would be neat. A simple selector could determine from where a shell is fed when the slide is racked.

magazine fed shotguns ARE FAR FASTER TO RELOAD than a tube fed......all day long.
no matter what @Phazer thinks.......mag fed all the way. if you would carry extra shells to load your tube, why would you not carry extra mags?

It adds an obtrusive protrusion that extends prominently out the bottom of the gun. It helps to fill in all that empty space in your safe, if you don't have another gun to put there.

I agree with @Phazer. It's low capacity as it is. At least with a tube, if you fire 2 shots and take cover, you can top off easily in seconds from a dump pouch.
With a magazine, if you fire 2 shots, you have to change magazines if you want to top off and have to save the magazine that still has 4 rounds in it to top of later. That takes additional time unless you drop it to the ground but then now you are down rounds.
You could end up with a bunch of magazines with 1, 2, or 3 rounds left over in a combat situation.

I like to keep my mags loaded. Shotshells have a tendency to deform ever so slightly in box magazines... just enough to adversely impact feeding reliability. If it wasn't for that I'd be gung-ho for shotguns like this.

I think that pertains to 30 round magazines and the like where you end up firing 10 or 12 rounds before entering another situation. It would be kind of silly to do that on 6 round magazines with 4 rounds left over.

There's really a disagreement here? Of course mags are easier to reload. Not to mention in a gunfight, slapping a mag in is much easier than fingering one round at a time. Fine motor skill vs. Gross motor skill.

So you are going to do that every time you fire a few rounds?
What's more efficient? Firing 1 or 2 rounds from a 6 round magazine, taking cover and topping off, or dropping the 6 round magazine that has 4 left over to the ground or a dump pouch and inserting a new one before entering another room or hallway?
If you expend all 6 in one shot, you have a point.
At least that's how I see it not that I'd ever use a shotgun. There are much better options out there today than smoothbore technology with low round counts that have limited range.

If I was going to buy another shotgun, I’d go with the Shockwave or the Tac-14. That’s just me tho. Those things look awesome. Not sure how it would be with recoil however
I wonder if they bought out Black Ace Tactical cause those things are junk I spent 5 hours going threw one for someone just to make it work 90% of the time up from 10% of the time. I can't wait to see how Remington did it compare to the Frankenstein gun from BAT.

Do you dump the mag with other types of weapons? Am I missing something here? If it’s a six round mag, I reload after I fire six rounds.

I have a Shockwave. The recoil is not an issue. Nothing like I would have thought before I first shot it. I never would have bought one but I won it in a gun club raffle and I love it. Great HD weapon and great fun and after all, guns are supposed to be fun above all.

Tactical reload is an option if there is a lull in the fight. Don't want to have 2 in the mag but then realize you need an uninterupted 5 to stay alive.
