who needs a box mag when you can speed load a auto or pump ..

Yes depending on the size of the magazine and the rounds fired.Do you dump the mag with other types of weapons? Am I missing something here? If it’s a six round mag, I reload after I fire six rounds.
Tactical reload is an option if there is a lull in the fight. Don't want to have 2 in the mag but then realize you need an uninterupted 5 to stay alive.
Yes depending on the size of the magazine and the rounds fired.
If you got into a shootout at your job let's say clearing a drug house and you fired 12 rounds out of your Glock in one string at a doorway or window for example, would you enter into the house with just 4 rounds left after the shooter goes down?
The same concept goes with this shotgun. Especially if it's only a 6 round magazine and you fired 2 or 3. Even after firing 1 round I'd want to top off if there was a lull in fighting.
Looks cool, but what purported "problem" is this supposed to address?
I like new inventions as much as anyone, but I'm having a hard time understanding how this is anything but a regression.
This would support the rationale for a tube mag... Shoot 2, reload 2... Shoot 4, reload 4... Shoot 1, reload 1.Count rounds. It's not hard to do with training and gives you something to focus on to calm the mind. Besides, this is a not a high capacity firearm anyway. It's one thing to fire 10 rounds from a pistol and drop or secure the remaining 5 to swap a fresh mag, but to fire 2-3 from each mag when you only have 6 anyway?
Jesus what kind of scenario are you dreaming up. If there are that many hostiles with that many rooms you need to clear a pump shotgun isn't the weapon you want here.I don't know if I can agree with that. If I was forced to carry an antiquated low capacity weapon with a 6 round magazine, I would top off after every room.
Say I'm point entering a room. I fire 3 rounds from my shotgun in room number one. Before leaving that room to go to the hallway to enter room number 2, I'd rather top off 3 more rounds back to 7 than going into the hallway and the next room with only 4 rounds left.
I don't want to go click and have to reload no matter how fast I can do it while engaging 3 dudes in another room trying to kill me.
If I had to choose I would MUCH rather take a single 5.56 to the chest rather than a load of 00 buck.Jesus what kind of scenario are you dreaming up. If there are that many hostiles with that many rooms you need to clear a pump shotgun isn't the weapon you want here.
That's fine it's a free country but for my home defense I prefer a non neutered AR compared to a pump shotgun in any configuration. If I had to choose I would MUCH rather take a single 5.56 to the chest rather than a load of 00 buck.
Nothing wrong with that. And of course ranges over 50 yards only a rifle will do.That's fine it's a free country but for my home defense I prefer a non neutered AR compared to a pump shotgun in any consideration.
Which is why I'd never carry one. One cannot ever be sure of how many rounds you need. But if I did have one, be I'd much rather have the ability to quickly top off a tubular magazine from a sidesaddle.Jesus what kind of scenario are you dreaming up. Three ways (at least):I would rather have the mag because if this is grab and go gun how would you carry the extra shells? In your pocket? in some sort of carrier? To me it would make more sense to grab the gun and one magazine and clear the house. But again this wouldn't be my preference to use anyways.

I used to sidesaddle. Now I realize it adds too much weight to an already heavy firearm. Better to carry extra on your person, not the shotgun itself. Besides, I want 20+ extra shells, not 5 or 6 from a sidesaddleWhich is why I'd never carry one. One cannot ever be sure of how many rounds you need. I think it's better to not even use a shotgun but that's me. If I had to use one, I'd rather temporarily deal with the weight and just grab one thing.I used to sidesaddle. Yep. It's a heavy, inaccurate, smoothbore musket that can be loaded quickly. That's all it is.The real issue here is an obsolete weapon system being updated to ever-so-slightly conform to modern tactical options.

Breaching doors!I know Will and I agree on that! Shotguns are obsolete for anything besides bird hunting.
Already done. I got rid of my relic in 2014.Lets get those obsolete relics out of your hands, I'll even pay for shipping.
You don't need a full shotgun for that. This would suffice.Breaching doors!
At least in Rainbow Six Siege they are...
Yeah, but what if you need to take on 12 people at once? You don't need a full shotgun for that. This would suffice.
