Any thoughts on this new bolt action rifle? Just over six pounds, and it's intended to be kind of a hybrid between a hunting and precision rifle. It seems interesting to me, and I think it would be pretty cool in a 6.5 Creedmoor.

I get that. Its too light to be a true precision rifle, but it still seems pretty cool.

I would use it for a predator rig. I hate heavy rifles when there is snow. So kemo357 and Celt, I would love to hear a range report after you get one.

I still say this thing is actually a hunting gun more than tgan anything else. More specifically its seems a development of Cooper's scout rifle concept. Put a simplified non adjustable stock on itband a lightweight optic like a Leupold VX6 1-6 on and you would have a fantastic stalking or woods gun, mountain gun.
