If it’s uramex I don’t want it. They suck as a company. So who actually makes it for sig? Is it GSG like the last two or is it now umarex?
Agree. My GSG 1911 has been pretty decent. Idk why all these gun companies don’t want to develop their own 22’s and instead just farm it out and then slap their names on it. at least Glock did design, develop and build their own 22.If it’s uramex I don’t want it. They suck as a company.
I had one of the uramex BB guns for a few months and it broke in like 2-3 months. I wrote them and said it’s a common thing will they do something about it. They said they would replace it, but I didn’t have something paperwork wise that they wanted so they refused. They handled it so poorly I’ll never shop with them again. It was a bad design and nearly every review was what happened to mine in the same timeframe and was an impulse buy at a local store because it was on sale. I was honest and told them I got a good deal at like half price of they were going to do a refund too.Agree. My GSG 1911 has been pretty decent. At 1.08 he says it is a ground up design by SIG made by SIGUmarex gun?
The video claims it is a sig. Sig design, sig manufactured. So who actually makes it for sig? Is it GSG like the last two or is it now umarex?
I’ve heard sig make that claim before with the Sig mosquito in 22LR and Sig 1911 in 22LR. Both turned out to be made by GSG. I bought the GSG 1911 in 22LR and saved myself $$$ vs buying the same gun with the Sig name. If Sig actually designed and produces this all in house them I will put it on the list of guns I want. Until then I will take a wait and see approachThe video claims it is a sig. Sig design, sig manufactured.

I heard "designed" but not "made".At 1.08 he says it is a ground up design by SIG made by SIG
Sig's customer service confirmed the P322 models are all made by SIG at SIG's New Hampshire facilities but with only threaded barrels it won't be an option for most on this fine forum.I heard "designed" but not "made".
Whatever the case may be, if the P322 is produced to airgun manufacturing standards out of pot metal I've no interest. If it is a proper gun made of proper alloy steel I would strongly consider a purchase. I am definitely in the market for a good .22lr pistol.
I always found it fascinating that the vast majority of semi auto 22LR’s are made with threaded barrels, yet the vast majority of center fire pistols are made without threaded barrels. I know that it’s with the idea of suppressing a 22 pistol, but since a good portion of states don’t allow suppressors, it seems like a weird way to restrict your sales numbers and thus your profits.Sig's customer service confirmed the P322 models are all made by SIG at SIG's New Hampshire facilities but with only threaded barrels it won't be an option for most on this fine forum.
Wow, that makes SIG somewhat unique with many manufacturers farming out production of their .22s.Sig's customer service confirmed the P322 models are all made by SIG at SIG's New Hampshire facilities but with only threaded barrels it won't be an option for most on this fine forum.
that’s a thing?!?!?!I’ll stick with my 22LR conversion for my P229 Legion
There are indeed many great options. You have the sensible and modular S&W Victory, the ultra classy Model 41, the stalwart Ruger Mk IV and the sexed up Volquartsen versions thereof, your Buckmarks, ect. All very fine pistols. However there is a substantial market for .22 pistols that look and handle like a modern defensive/duty pistol. Many of the guns in this segment suck so whenever a new one comes out everybody is abuzz wondering "will it be good or will it suck?"There are enough really great .22 pistols out there that run and run and run, with tons of aftermarket support that I don't get the enthusiasm for an unproven pistol from a company that already put out a .22 pistol that was a dud

With SIG this can be a real crap shoot.
SIGs philosophy with new firearms seems to be- fall out of the tree and hit every branch on the way down......... and get back up bloody and bruised with a good gun. Eventually.
