Not really a huge change. The only difference in the cold and snow. I will say that i do like it out here. Its nice to have seasons lol.
When you get a free moment travel to upstate. There's a lot of beautiful country side up here. You will see why there's such a split in politics in this state. Driving an hour out of the city leaves you out in god's country.

i have yet to do any major traveling as my job keeps me pretty busy. But i plan on doing some camping upstate this summer. Maybe even hit up a few of the ranges. You are right though its beautiful. So much different that Cali. I dont think i have seen this much rain in my entire life.

An hour out of the city ???!!!!! LoL, holy Crap ! Then I must be in the wilds living waaay up here in the middle of the state over 6 hrs. North west of the city.
I'm that far away also. But I was stationed down in Newburg which is about an hour north of the city and that's where you starting getting into normal living.
