How you figure that? It's an all steel version of their long existing PPQ pistol. Which in itself is just a tweaked version of their long standing P99 series.

I hate how Walther dropped the paddle release which they also had a larger one than HK which in my eyes was nicer (I'd like to see one in between the size of the PPQ and HK paddle release size)

***edit*** but being for competition I can see why they went with a push button, easily swapped for different size ones depending on shooters needs/wants

One thing you can do with a button release that you can't with a paddle release is to drop a mag with the pistol still holstered. It's a small thing but it can be convenient in a training or competition environment.

5' 5", not sure what chip you are talking about? I did bust my elbow once when I feel out of a top rack in birthing when on my ship, but not my shoulder
