ZT450 Sinkevich. Ball bearing flipper action with titanium scales and a S35VN blade.
Very cool. Congratulations
T'was purchased with my workin' on Christmas day bonus
That right there is.. SEXXXXXXXY!
Agreed. Looks handy, practical, AND badass.
It's a smallish EDC size. 3.25" blade so it is pretty practical. Suitable for typical EDC tasks. I doubt it would hold up under heavy abusive use.
I might have to get one of those.
Nice looking blade Pod!
Mind if I ask what that set you back?
They are on EBay for $160 NIB.
Weird that I was looking at those last week but decided I'm going another direction for now for something I can abuse and not feel bad about.
$175 list at the Gander where I bought it. After the club discount it was $155.
I always use even my nicer knives. When I sent my Para 2 in to Golden for sharpening and tip repair I got a handwritten note back that said
"Its nice to see our knives being used".
Very nice! Love ZT knives. Mind the titanium though, as I hear it scratches easily.
ZT puts together practical materials and design. And $160.00 for a practical performing blade made from some good steel is worthy... Scratches mean it's being used! Needs to be used, lol. Congrats! And for the $ I might pick one of these up too.
I just really wish ZT wouldn't thread the screws direct into the scales. If they strip then the knife is ruined. It would also be nice if they placed steel washer inserts for the ball bearings to ride on. The hardened bearings will eventually wear a track into the soft titanium. I can't imagine these small refinements would add much cost and I think any ZT fan would happily pay whatever cost increase they would entail. With said improvements I think ZT would be at a custom knife quality level.
Action is very smooth and fast, as is the norm for ZT. I have become a big fan of this company's knives since they started offering more practical, EDC friendly designs.
PS, new blades=bandages
Because of you I had to get one myself. What a nice knife. Thanks for sharing.
It is being shipped. should be here this week end.
Oooooh. Did you get the titanium or carbon fiber version?
Titanium. I already have a ZT in Carbon Fiber.
I think the titanium is more striking personally.
Not a low profile blade at all.
I agree.. Boy this knife thing is getting a little out of hand. It's like a disease.
Yes. Yes it is
Well here are the pictures of my 2 ZT'S
